Insider information

This is when someone from inside a company deals or tries to deal using inside information.

It can also involve an insider giving information to another person when they are not allowed to.

Any behaviour based on information that is not commonly available that creates an unfair market place is classed as insider information that can lead to fraud.

If fraud has been committed, report it to Action Fraud.
