CRIMINAL SOLICITORS BARK AND CO OF LONDON FRAUDUENTLY CHARGE LEGAL AID AGENCY £62K FOR 15 HOURS OF LEGAL WORK FOR CRIMINAL DEFENDANT

Financial Fraudster News Investigation can reveal Mr John Brown (not his real name) instructed Bark and Co Solicitors Ltd a London based firm of solicitors specializing in defence criminal work, for legal representation after being charged with handling stolen property.

Brown was later handed a prison sentence after an early guilty plea; opting not to go to trial.

But the greedy Bark and Co Solicitors led by Giles Bark-Jones, Principal sought to exploit the suspect’s right by defrauding the Legal Aid Agency by inflating legal fees.

The hapless Mr Brown was fraudulently charged £62,000 or £4,000 per hour for less than 15 hours of work carried out by Bark and Co Solicitors, after initially being led to believe he had qualified for legal aid, but this was later rejected by the Legal Aid Agency.

Financial Fraudster News Investigation can reveal that Mr Brown a first-time offender is now being sued by the Lord Chancellor for the legal aid costs paid out to the fraudulent Bark and Co Solicitors.

Financial Fraudster News Investigation has seen court papers that Bark and Co Solicitors charged fictitious legal charges totalling £50,000 for legal services and up to £12,000 for barristers’ fee even though there was no trial.

The duped Mr Brown has asked for a detailed breakdown of the costs, but Bark and Co Solicitors has so far declined to provide this.

Financial Fraudster News Investigation has spoken with Mr Brown who has revealed that High Court proceedings are imminent to recover monies defrauded from him.
