justice.
However, the unfolding situation within the Hertfordshire Serious Fraud team, as meticulously exposed by Financial Fraudster News, represents a deeply alarming and frankly shocking indictment of the UK's ability to police itself.
The apparent inaction by both the Home Secretary and Hertfordshire Chief Constable Andy Prophet in confronting this blatant corruption demands immediate and rigorous scrutiny.
The facts, as they have emerged, paint a breathtaking picture of collusion between a senior Hertfordshire Police officer, Detective Sergeant Anna Luxon, and a known criminal, Stephen Flattery, the head of an Organised Crime Group (OCG). Luxon, sworn to uphold the law, is now demonstrably implicated in actively attempting to pervert the course of public justice.
The evidence, including her own written instructions to Flattery on how to deceive a highly respected High Court Judge, Mr Justice Miles, in a repossession hearing, is nothing short of scandalous.
Let's be clear: DS Luxon, having received a call from Flattery – a man who is not only a criminal trespasser but also fraudulently claiming benefits – actively coached him on how to mislead the High Court. This wasn't a momentary lapse of judgment; this was a calculated and brazen attempt to ensure Flattery, an intruder on property legally owned by an American company, Cheryl Plummer (International) LLC, avoided lawful removal.
The context is crucial.
Flattery had previously obtained a stay on a lawfully obtained possession order on March 19, 2024, by making false statements to Master Davison – statements that any competent police officer with even a rudimentary understanding of civil law should have recognised as dubious at best, and fraudulent at worst.
Yet, instead of confronting this criminality, DS Luxon appears to have doubled down, providing Flattery with a roadmap to further obstruct justice in a subsequent High Court hearing before Mr Justice Miles on 8 May 2025. The sheer audacity of a serving police officer providing written instructions on how to deceive a senior High Court Judge is, quite frankly, breathtaking and brings the entire Hertfordshire Constabulary into disrepute.
Furthermore, the stench of corruption extends beyond DS Luxon and her alleged co-conspirator, DC Beames. The involvement of senior CPS lawyer Andrew Sarkany, who stands accused of knowingly using stolen evidence to pursue an innocent party and of orchestrating the disappearance of a private prosecution indictment against Flattery, reveals a deeply concerning network of compromised individuals within the very institutions tasked with upholding the law.
The fact that a private prosecution, approved by Westminster Magistrates' Court against a known OCG leader, could simply vanish within the CPS system under Sarkany's purview speaks volumes about the potential for abuse of power and the obstruction of justice at the highest levels.
The failure of both the Home Secretary, responsible for the overall integrity of law enforcement, and Chief Constable Andy Prophet, directly responsible for the conduct of his officers, to decisively confront this blatant corruption is utterly unacceptable.
Warnings have reportedly been issued, yet these senior figures appear either incapable or unwilling to root out this cancerous behavior within their ranks. This inaction not only emboldens corrupt elements but also sends a chilling message that collusion and criminality within state institutions can be tolerated.
The implications for justice, particularly for an American company seeking to assert its legal rights in the UK, are profound. Cheryl Plummer (International) LLC has been met with a wall of obstruction, allegedly erected by the very individuals sworn to protect the law. This isn't just about a property dispute; it's about the erosion of trust in the UK's ability to provide a fair and impartial legal system.
The continued inaction by the Home Secretary and Chief Constable Prophet is a dereliction of duty. It is time for decisive leadership and a commitment to transparency and accountability.
