South Western Railway train services accused of passenger ticket fraud

South Western Railway train services stands accused of passenger ticket fraud and negligence as an employee part of the revenue collections staff based at Southampton Central Train Station is accused of abuse of position, fraud, selective bias and passive agressive bullying to enforce a bogus rule to prevent a passenger's right to travel under a valid ticket by falsely stating it was used.

Financial Fraudster News Investigations heard from the stunned SWR railcard holder, passenger and frequent traveller who was denied lawful use of train services despite holding a valid ticket based on an alleged ticket barrier reading which when challenged, the SWR employee identified only by her picture [pictured left] walked off to hold tissue over to cover her face when accused of blatant abuse of position and fraud when the passenger asked for technological proof of the assertions she relied on.

Financial Fraudster News Investigations has been shown evidence that a rigid regime is in place and is being enforced without explanation by some unfriendly staff whose conduct impacts on all Southampton Central Train Station employees.

The disgruntled passenger has lodged a complaint based on fraud and abuse of position against the member of staff by that resulted in the heartless SWR employee part of Southampton Central Train Station revenue collections team flatly refusing to hear any explanation as to why the passenger never travelled on the return leg of his ticket resorting to covering her face in a bizarre act.

Financial Fraudster News Investigations has revealed that the passenger known as Mr Roberts [not his real name] was due to travel on an earlier date but whilst standing on the platform had to abort his travel plans on 25 September 2021, despite being assured by staff that as he had not travelled the ticket was legally valid.

Mr Roberts attempted to use his off-peak ticket on 1 Oct 2021 but was prevented by the SWR employee unless a new ticket was purchased.

The alleged conduct of the SWR senior member gives a warning to commuters to ensure that if a mistake is made there will be no quarter given especially from SWR staff at Southampton Central Train Station.

The confused passenger stated, “…I am just a small business owner, I choose not to drive due my personal views on environmental and sustainability issues and I spend over £8000 a year on travel nationally by rail… where’s is the customer loyalty and benefit of the doubt… the SWR employee showed no sympathy so I purchased another ticket but vowed to make this experience known to others I know I am a small voice but I have a voice too… to me this is fraud plain and simple furthered by an employee who deserves to be seen for her work in giving me a poor Southampton Central Train Station and SWR experience”

Financial Fraudster News Investigations contacted SWR who have declined to comment.

Financial Fraudster News Investigations update! The passenger has contacted Financial Fraudster News Investigations stating that on 4 Oct 2021 a full refund and an apology regarding the conduct of the staff member from SWR was received.
