Allegations emerge of corrupt Met Police officer and trainee detective constable named as Kirsty Rees who attempts to frame a suspect reliant on the false testimony of David Richard Smith who is accused of as being “disgraceful, greedy and a liar” by estranged wife in an attempt to pervert the course of justice.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations has been informed by a confidential source that an unnamed police officer based at Wood Green Police Station, North London a part of the investigatory team led by trainee detective Kirsty Rees is alleged to have unlawfully and in the furtherance of a defective and unprofessional investigation blighted by corruption, seized legally privileged materials. The alleged acts are contrary to police the PACE Act 1984 the seized court papers relevant to a lawful and ongoing civil litigation are said to have been distributed.
The seized material is an attempt by the corrupt investigation to bolster allegations in the hope to further the premeditated and unconscionable attempt to pervert the course of justice following the false arrest and imprisonment of a wholly innocent suspect.
Trainee detective constable Kirsty Rees stands accused of withholding exculpatory evidence from the suspect and is herself now subject to a probe following a pending Independent Office of Police Complaints (IOPC) complaint from the suspect.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations can reveal that no pre interview disclosure evidence was offered to the suspect prior to an interview by Rees.
It has emerged that the Metropolitan Police Service investigation is solely reliant on the word of a known benefits fraudster and a seventy something dyed hair lothario figure and serial litigant David Richard Smith who has a history of filing bogus and vindictive claims and has now made allegations.
Smith has been exposed as a liar by his estranged Ethiopian wife identified as Senait Woldensadik a thirty something, and half the age of Smith.
Woldensadik who lives in a separate rented apartment was only allowed to enter the UK having married Smith in an alleged sham marriage, and after gaining employment was dismissed from her employment from Marks and Spencer’s Baker Street branch for theft and twice caught by Transport for London fare investigators for fare dodging.
Met Police officer, trainee detective and self-confessed lead investigator Police constable Kirsty Rees is alleged to have deliberately suppressed exculpatory evidence in an attempt to frame an unnamed suspect amid allegations of false arrest and imprisonment following an Independent Office of Police Complaints (IOPC) complaint regarding conduct which is alleged to have amounted to gross misconduct.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations has been given information and documents revealing that during a live investigation one or more officers located at Wood Green Police Station in North London are practicing the dark arts of policing of the past based on tenuous complaints of which evidence is shaped to target various levels of suspect that involve the suppression of exculpatory evidence.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations has seen civil court filings submitted to the court by Smith in which Smith’s false allegations are laid bare verified by a statement of truth that he in fact new the suspect was not a lawyer.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations believe Smith attempted to defraud his bankers Halifax Bank into believing a fraud had taken when in fact over a prolonged period from 2015 he would pursue civil action against third parties that include large companies in order to exaggerate claims for financial gain in claims that were each deemed to be without merit.
In one case he sued the Met Police for false arrest and imprisonment at Marks and Spencer after his estranged wife had been dismissed for theft.
As a result, Smith brought a civil action against the Met Police and Marks and Spencer which he represented himself at the High Court, the matter was duly struck out leaving Smith owing over £25,000 in costs.
The criminal justice system in England and Wales relies on the Crown Prosecution Service to adhere to a set of procedures that with the checks and balances it provides to ensure that all prosecutions brought to the court are based on the diligence and hard work of the investigating authorities who play by the rules.
With a growing spate of police officers rebuked by the courts for withholding exculpatory evidence resulting in further mistrust and erosion of the public’s faith in the criminal justice system the cornerstone of any modern society.
In many courts across the country, judges are taking a dim view and a more aggressive stance on officers that are key witnesses vital to prosecutions brought by the CPS in cases deemed tainted in the prosecutors’ opinion due to failures by investigating authorities in sharing exculpatory evidence with suspects.
In many cases, prosecutors may refuse to file charges where officers who are accused of suppressing evidence are witnesses. Being branded as tainted is damaging to an officer’s reputation and may even be a death knell to a career, or at the very least, to promotion.
A police suspect or his or her representatives attending the interview have a responsibility to ensure that the suspect if unrepresented or their client if represented is properly advised before an interview. This may include requesting as much information as possible about the allegations against their client.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations spoke to a retired specialist fraud detective Robert Smith and Financial Fraudster News contributor who stated;
“There is no obligation on an investigator to disclose the whole of the evidence against a suspect prior to interview. You have a wide discretion in relation to disclosure of such information. It is appropriate to provide the suspect with some information so that the solicitor is able to usefully advise their client in relation to the interview under caution. If you do not provide sufficient disclosure, the solicitor may advise their client to remain silent…But if the interviewer/investigator is acting on the basis to mislead the suspect by withholding evidence…he/she is rolling a dice…which if the gamble fails it simply brings policing into disrepute and the public loses confidence in us…”
Financial Fraudster News Investigations has been informed by sources close to the investigation that with no evidnce being offered that would remotely meet the CPS threshold for charging a bail period upto 3 months from an inital 28 days has been granted by a police sergeant to give the investigators that includes a constable spence who is believed to also be a trainee detective constable along side trainee detective constable Rees who believe that the suspect's past is the key to the success of the investigation which now appears to be a fishing expedition.
Metropolitan Police Service have declined to comment.
