Financial Fraudster News investigations can reveal from sources that a HMP High Down prison officer is at the centre of a cash for phones scandal that has seen a disproportionally high proportion of smartphones found on the prison’s notorious Houseblock 2 B-wing.
Former inmate of the adult male Surrey prison John Michaels [not his real name] has provided pictures and video footage taken from a smartphone of inmates taking drugs and drinking seemingly with little risk of sanctions.
Mr Michaels stated “you can get what you want in here if you know the right screws... an officer called Miss Weston also known as ‘wild west’ would get our smarties all the time… on one occasion the screws found nearly a dozen phones in the shower…
Mr Michaels added [she the wild west] would always be good for smarties providing bulk purchase orders minimum 5 phone parcels. The going rate for mobile phones is £1,000 - £1,200.00 a pop…”
