Geoffrey Cox stands accused of bringing the Attorney General's Office into disrepute aided by the Treasury Solicitor and the Government Legal Department against a former government paid employee...
The UK government’s most senior law officer has been accused of wilful negligence occasioning a gross abuse of power by blindly following the former Solicitor General for England and Wales [Robert Buckland now Justice Secretary] who in February 2019 signed an order granting permission for draconian vexatious litigant proceedings to be brought against a former prisoner and former litigant who whilst subject to a general civil restraint order (GCRO) for acting as a McKenzie friend for over 600 plus inmates whilst serving his prison in an employed newly created role having been granted permission to act in that capacity by the then Justice Secretary.
Financial Fraudster News Investigations Team can reveal in following the removal of prison legal officers due to austerity Mr A was employed to provide a number of functions to assist in handwriting pre-action letters, civil claims, civil applications and civil appeals, criminal appeals, signposting to legal firms and direct access barristers, and due to literacy issues who wrote complaints, sat in adjudications and civil and criminal case video links as a McKenzie Friend and provided general support and signposting for inmates at HMP Swaleside and HMP Lowdham Grange in an office and a classroom respectively authorised by the Justice Secretary.
Geoffrey Cox, the incumbent and hapless attorney-general has started without merit civil proceedings drafted by Zara Broadley-Johns solicitor at the Government Legal Department who is accused of concocting a series of fraudulent misrepresentations in false witness statements and pleadings before the High Court Queen's Bench in order to have Mr A branded a vexatious litigant for carrying out paid work for the government whilst held in custody despite Mr A already the subject of GCRO.
We spoke to a Financial Fraudster News legal contributor who stated: “ This is bizarre and clear evidence of a legal faux pas that was avoidable, the AG the government’s highest law officer has simply failed to carry out a responsible and detailed background research and has simply allowed the then Solicitor General for England and Wales [Robert Buckland now Justice Secretary] to lead, it now appears that as a result Mr A was employed by the Ministry of Justice with approval from the then Justice Secretary to act as a pseudo-legal adviser for many years, I think the AG will find he is estopped from bringing any such proceedings ouch!...”
In an unprecedented highlight of the current disconnect and lack of communication between government departments that permeates government and now leaves Robert Buckland Justice Secretary in an awkward position as the incumbent, when it was he acting as the Solicitor General for England and Wales who wilfully signed off authorisation granting vexation litigant proceedings, without making adequate checks a reasonable person would make, prior to proceedings being brought against Mr A former prisoner who the Justice Secretary’s predecessor had authorised to act for numerous prisoners from a designated office.
